Lovely as a Tree

This ATC is so simple, and yet so pretty - the scan colours do not do it justice I'm afraid. The tree, stamped in Black Versafine, is from a Stampin Up set, the background is Juicy Ink Pad in Spice, brayered on, and the tree is finally touched with sea green glitter glue, which comes up dark green on the black tree...if you enlarge the photo, you can get the idea, although not the sparkle.

An Award

My lovely internet friend Ginger has nominated me for this award. Thank you so much
Ginger, (find her link over on my sidebar under LovestoDream - a very, very interesting blog!)
Here are the award rules: List 7 things that you love and then pass the award on to 7 bloggers you love! Be sure to tag them and let them know they have won! You can copy the picture of the award and put it on your sideboard letting the whole world know.....you are KREATIV!
I have to then name 7 people, eerrrmmmmm - will think about who to choose.

For my 7 things I love I chose things from the world of Nature this time, because everybody knows I love my hubby and my dog, and because I so agree with Ginger loving Spring. Sooo.....

I love 1. The wind in my hair.
2. Looking for faces and animals in the clouds.
3. The smell of new mown grass (thankfully don't suffer from hayfever.)
4. The sight of young lambs playing in the fields.
5. The sight of cygnets riding on their dad's back down the river.
6. The miracle of each tiny wild flower peeping through a rough grass field.
7. A picnic, anywhere in the countryside, surrounded by fields,
trees, mountains and perhaps a stream ..

Now, instead of choosing 7 people, I would love for everyone who visits this blog to help themselves to this award with my love and blessings.

Thinking of You - available

This is another Beeswax ATC - I love how it softens the image. I deliberately left the wax a bit thicker in places to give my ATC an 'aged' look.
I don't use any expensive tools, just a jug of boiling water to keep an old flat knife in ( to spread the wax) a wooden Macdonalds coffee stirrer to stir the wax, an old spoon to ladle it out of it's little stainless steel bowl, and my heat gun, to manipulate the wax round my cards ....the only other tool is a pair of tweezers to pull the bowl of wax on and off my hob...so you don't need state of the art expensive stuff, which I couldn't afford anyway, I use what I have to hand, and it works for me........after stamping I just used a few faux jewels to break up the flatness of the ATC ..

Puppy Love - available

I just traded an ATC with Kirsten, and she sent me some lovely doggy ribbon and doggy brads - I will enjoy using them ..here's one example .......I just added the tiny red PAWS

Beeswax Valentine - traded

I had enormous fun making this beeswax valentine. Got it together in the end, and I think it looks ok - the image is Crafty Individuals and the words Paper Artsy. The only thing that went wrong was the wax went right through the card, but since it doesn't show on the right side, no problems :-) If you look carefully, there is an impression of a heart on the right hand side - didn't go as deep into the wax as I would have liked, but it was stamped with red ink.

This ATC will soon be winging it's way across the big pond to Canada as a gift.

Ice Blue Indian - traded

The Indian is a Joanna Sheen image, and the metal tag saying is by Senti-Metals. I just added a couple of faux gems top and bottom, because I felt simplicity was the key for this ATC.
